We have received Candidate Statements from the Democratic Candidates running for various positions in the May 2018 primary. Please note, the Candidate Statements are organized by the seat sought and the Candidate's last name.
Please click here to view the Candidate Statements in English.
We have made a video available of the Congressional District 2 Democratic Candidate Forum that was held in The Dalles on April 21, 2018. This is the seat that is currently held by Greg Walden. If you were unable to attend, you can now watch the video.

Become a Neighborhood Leader! The Neighborhood Leader Program (NLP) is a grassroots Get Out the Vote program adopted by the Democratic Party of Oregon. We need volunteers to canvass Democratic households in your neighborhood. Becoming a Neighborhood Leader is easy, fun, and effective! You can make a difference!
Contact our NLP coordinator, Sarah Kellems, with any questions about the program or to sign up for the next training: email@example.com, (509) 637-0771
We are attempting to replenish our funds in order to continue our operations. We are asking people to please consider making a contribution to our mission, which is to support Democratic candidates at the local, state and national level and to advocate for issues that we care about. Please keep in mind that a contribution to the Hood River County Democrats is a political contribution which can be utilized (by most taxpayers) as a direct credit on your Oregon Income Tax Return ($50 for single/separate returns and $100 for joint returns).
The Hood River Democrats meet on 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6 pm.
Our next meeting:
Date: Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
Location: May Street Elementary School cafeteria, 911 May St., Hood River
All are welcome to attend. Please click on the Meetings tab for more information on our next meeting.
